Advanced WordPress Performance Optimization

Advanced WordPress Performance Optimization

We take care of the hosting. The harder parts come next.

Introduction

Most if not all performance optimization is actually "advanced". At least, if you're doing it right, and doing it efficiently. The only simple part of WordPress site optimization is migrating your site to SITEDISTRICT in the first place. After that, it gets much harder.

Why? Well, because we take care of most of the platform-level optimizations that actually matter: optimized infrastruture, speedy servers, optimized HTTP and HTTPS configuration, page caching, content delivery network (CDN), brute-force protection and (D)DoS protection, browser caching headers, image optimization, HTTP asset compression, and more. All this is quite complicated itself, but we take are of it for you.

What's left? Site optimization. This means optimizing how your site is built, in terms of the theme, page builders (if any), plugins, third-party services, and more. To take on this type of optimization, you will need to understand the basics we've covered above, as well as how to use and understand different diagnostic tools.

Once you learn how to diagnose a problem, the harder part is often fixing the problem. This is because the problems often come from code and services that you didn't create nor necessarily control. You may need to contact support for your theme or plugins, or write your own code to compensate or fix issues if others can't help.
